Kadima Dance Company

Kadima Dance Company is Winnipeg’s newest Israeli dance group. Kadima, Hebrew for the word “forward,” consists of 20 adult dancers and focuses on traditional and contemporary Israeli dance styles.

Kadima Dance Company was founded by Hadera Short in 2019. Hadera directs Kadima and is also a fellow dancer in the group. Kadima is a place for performers of all dance backgrounds to come together and share in their love of Israeli dance. Dancers are encouraged to express their full creative potential and take an active role in the group by choreographing their own pieces and finding performance opportunities for the company.
